Practicum in Political Science

The Practicum, On-the-Job Training (OJT), or internship Program is the culmination of this pre-service training. It serves as the transitional phase between the student’s role as a full-time student and his future role as a full-time professional government worker. It is a three-unit course designed to provide the student-trainee or intern the opportunities to observe, participate, and apply in actual situations the theories, principles and strategies learned in school.  It provides practical experience in government offices under the supervision of a faculty member of the college.
