Fundamentals in Film and Video Production

This course introduces film aesthetics through the analysis of film form and style. The course aims to provide students an in-depth knowledge and fluency of film’s language as it evolves technologically, historically, and generically. In this course, students will be asked to engage in healthy discussions of prominent and critically acclaimed films in the local and international setting. It will also help the students understand the fundamentals of film and develop competencies in writing, directing, cinematography, and editing.
