This course orients students on the science and practice of the Pharmacy profession.
It describes the history, regulations, and practice of Pharmacy and the roles of Pharmacists in handling medications and in health care.
At the end of the course students should be able to value Pharmacy as a Health Profession;
demonstrate an appreciation of history, cultural heritage, and mathematics;
describe the roles of Pharmacists in the different areas of Practice, in handling medications, and in delivery of the health care system.
