The course deals with the on historical developments in mathematics which includes: Mathematics of Ancient Civilization, the beginning of mathematics in Greece, Archimedes and Apollonius, The final chapter of Greek Mathematics, The Math of China and India, The Math of Islam, Math of Medieval Europe, Algebra in the Renaissance, Geometry, Algebra and Probability of the 17th century, The Beginning of Calculus, Algebra in the 19th century, and Modern Geometry and Set theory, and their contributions to present-day Mathematics.
