New Testament

The first part of the New Testament course will briefly take a look at the Christian understanding of revelation – faith in the light of revelation theology during the last decades. It shall explore the significant points offered by Scripture on this matter. A description how the Bible came into existence and how tradition plays an important role in understanding its testimony shall be elaborated. This course will also present the origin and formation of the New Testament and the message of Jesus in the gospels. The first part will unfold how revelation-faith can be understood within the context of a search for a world that is truly worthy of man – a world where true peace, freedom, love and justice prevails. It opens avenues of knowing Christ's message on the Kingdom of God that should inspire and move the mind and heart of the youth today.
