Developmental Psychology
This course, Developmental Psychology, analyzes the biological, social, psychological, emotional and cognitive changes from conception to senescence. It discusses developmental tasks at each stage, as well as, differential effects of wholesome and inadequate development to personality and adjustment. Further, it deals with the influence of Filipino child-rearing practices that affect development. The student is expected to gain an understanding of how individuals are similar and different from each other that would help them acquire insight into how to build a Marian community where each one is accepted and helped to be the best person he or she is.
