This course covers both descriptive and inferential statistics. Topics include the nature of statistics and research, beginning with the collection of data, organizing and presenting quantitative data; measures of averages, measures of dispersions, measures of positions, normal probability distribution, hypothesis testing using z, t, F and x2 , correlation and linear regression.
