Financial Management

This course introduces the students to the nature, purpose, scope and functions of financial management to help them understand how firms meet their financial objectives utilizing financial decision making. This course will explain the concepts on analysis of the financial statements which includes horizontal analysis, vertical analysis or ratio analysis as well as the different financial tools and techniques which can be used to help firms maximize value by improving decisions relating to capital structure, working capital management and capital budgeting. Moreover, it will also cover a number of related topics including multinational financial management and risk management.
