This course introduces accountancy students to the nature of the teaching and learning process. As an elective, this course opens the opportunity of the teaching profession to future Certified Public Accountants through the understanding of the principles of teaching and learning towards the effective transfer of learning of different accounting knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values to accounting learners. The students in this course are expected to gain significant insights on selecting, designing and implementing approaches, strategies, methods, and techniques used by accounting teachers, blending theories and experiences for better accounting education. The course shall also be aligned to the standards and competencies of the Fundamentals of Accountancy, Business, and Management for the Senior High School of the K to 12 Basic Education Curriculum.
