This course provides a comprehensive and accessible introduction to the field of transportation management with a broad overview of its concepts, methods and areas of application. Aimed mainly at an undergraduate audience, it provides an overview of the spatial aspects of transportation and focuses on how the mobility of passengers and freight is linked with geography.
Topics presented are covering a specific conceptual dimension, including networks, modes, terminals, freight transportation (negotiable topic) and urban transportation. This course, also provides online training/immersion on providing hospitality services onboard a ship (subject to negotiation/MOA discussion with Industry Provider/s), and potentially the training on the use of an airline reservation system (also subject to negotiation /MOA discussion with Industry Partner/s)
