This course is intended mainly to strengthen business skills through the preparation of business plan. It covers the structures of business plan such as marketing, operations, personnel and financial plans. Requirements in manufacturing and service sectors will be differentiated. It shall also include topics on strengthening marketability of products, identifying sources of raw materials, designing organizational structures appropriate for the proposed business and identifying the technology needed. It also touches on the current practices in solving problems generally encountered in the organization and operation procedures of these industries such as planning, controlling, legal requirements, location, physical facilities, pricing and distribution structures.
