This course will equip the students with a comprehensive knowledge on the techniques and best practices in guiding and escorting travelers in their travels locally and abroad. As
tour guiding is one of the many dynamic professions in the Tourism industry, considering that the Tourism business is viewed as the largest industry in the world, there is a need to
produce more skilled and knowledgeable persons to guide tourists/travelers. This course then includes in detail the discussion of the various roles of tour guides and the appropriate
speaking skills they should possess. The required itinerary setting and scrip/spiel/commentary writing are likewise important competencies to be mastered.
