Course Description
The course seeks to deepen BSED Math students’ understanding of Euclidean geometry and to sharpen reasoning skills in preparation for mathematics teaching and readiness for higher mathematics. Learning of concepts, postulates, and theorems will be through inductive and deductive methods of reasoning with emphases on mathematical investigation, use of ICT and research-based knowledge on learning and teaching. Topics will cover the following: triangle congruence and similarity, circles, polygons, prisms, cylinders, pyramids, and cones
