Waves and Optics (Lec)

This course discusses the fundamental concepts of mechanical and electromagnetic waves. It covers the production and propagation of waves, their characteristics, types and properties. It also deals with simple harmonic motion and the nature and duality of light with emphasis on physical and geometric optics. Learning waves and optics allows the students to gain insights on the importance of these concepts on daily activities. Activities that enhance the problem-solving and laboratory skills of the learners are embedded in the course.
