Social Psychology

Social Psychology is the scientific study of humankind as social beings. In this course, students will explore, discuss, and evaluate the science of social psychology pertaining to the myriad ways in which people behave within various social contexts.  Topics include social perception, social cognition, attitude, aggression, genes and culture, persuasion, group dynamics and interpersonal attraction. The class will include lecture material, group discussions/presentations, and in-class learning exercises
