Course Description:
The course deals with the study of the human body in terms of its structural framework & organization with emphasis on physiologic regulations and adaptive mechanisms. It also provides laboratory exercises and techniques necessary in clinical situations.
Course Objectives:
1. Relate the anatomical and physiological body states in health and disease.
2. Identify the anatomical and physiologic adaptations in health and disease.
3. Demonstrate the proper way of assessing body structures and functions.
4. Establish a strong foundation in the understanding of the structures and functions of the human body which is vital in comprehending advance nursing concepts.
