Pharmacy Major Internship

Course description:

This course is designed to provide student interns the opportunity to gain experience in a specific area to be chosen among the three areas of Pharmacy, namely: Community Pharmacy, Hospital Pharmacy and Manufacturing/Industrial Pharmacy. Students will have a hands on experience for a period of 360 hours. The number of hours required for the major internship is in accomplishment of a pre graduation and pre board requirement in compliance with CHED Memo No. 3 Series of 2006.

At the end of the internship period, students are expected to demonstrate competency in the chosen area of Pharmacy. A well integrated principles of the practice area and actual exposure for longer number of hours will enhance students' skills and knowledge. Gained experience allow students to be more prepared in facing the real issues of the practice.
