Course description:
This course is designed to provide student interns the opportunity to gain experience in a specific area to be chosen among the three areas of Pharmacy, namely: Community Pharmacy, Hospital Pharmacy and Manufacturing/Industrial Pharmacy. Students will have a hands on experience for a period of 360 hours. The number of hours required for the major internship is in accomplishment of a pre graduation and pre board requirement in compliance with CHED Memo No. 3 Series of 2006.
At the end of the internship period, students are expected to demonstrate competency in the chosen area of Pharmacy. A well integrated principles of the practice area and actual exposure for longer number of hours will enhance students' skills and knowledge.
