Microbiology is defined as the study of organisms that are too small to be seen by naked eye. This includes bacteria, viruses, fungi and protozoa's. This course covers the principles of microbiology and the impact of these microorganisms on man. Topics will be focusing on bacteriology including their structure, genetics, microbial pathogenicity and selected practical application.
