Course Description:
The course deals with the molecular hierarchy of the living cell. It covers the study of the biomolecules carbohydrates, proteins, lipids, and nucleic acids in relation to their structure and functions in the living system, the generation and storage of metabolic energy, biosynthesis of biomolecules and the transmission and expression of genetic information. It also discusses the importance and correlation of biomolecules to health and diseases.
