This course focuses on the study of environmental ecosystems and the demands placed on them by the human population. It examines the scientific principles behind natural phenomena and resource cycles; how we utilize the resources, our impacts, and potential solutions for the resulting consequences of resource mismanagement and exploitation. The course intends to develop students to become environmental stewards in their respective localities by involving themselves in environmental community projects and by organizing environmental fora where they can disseminate information and encourage people to be environmentally watchful and responsible
