Physical Activity Towards Health and Fitness (Exercise Program)
I. Course Description:
This course deals with basic movement and rhythmic skills used in learning and creating simple natural dances. It includes basic steps and dance needed in the correct interpretation and performance of Philippine folk dances. Social dances are also introduced.

II. Course Objectives: At the end of the course, the students should be able to:
1. demonstrate creative self-expression through rhythmic activities;
2. perform rhythmic movement sufficient to provide for present enjoyment and to meet future needs as the ability to perform the different locomotor and non-locomotor movements to music with variations and combinations.
3. show rhythmic accuracy and coordination
4. apply skills and social understanding in organized groups.
5. appreciate different cultures through folk dances.
