Modern Geometry

Geometry continues to develop as a major branch of contemporary mathematics. This course deals with many other geometries, apart from the typical high school geometry course and analytic geometry. As the word “modern “ in the title implies, the major emphasis id on the basic concepts of geometries – those developed since 1800 like finite geometries, geometric transformation, convexity, modern Euclidean geometry, projective geometry and Non-Euclidean Geometries.
