Advanced topics in math for teachers is a course that covers concepts, principles and applications behind selected topics in the various disciplines of Mathematics as well as philosophies behind or ethical issues incorporated in the selected topics and other current mathematics-related issues and concerns during the time that the course is enrolled. The students are expected to organize a sharing/seminar/webinar/conference for selected topics and be resource speakers in either self-organized or invitational seminar/webinar/conferences. The major outputs of this course include oral and written reports and comprehensive critique paper for a particular issue.
