This course is designed for graduate students in English and English Education. It allows the graduate students to examine the teaching of literature across levels with the use of both practical and theoretical approaches. The course includes three main themes: the rationale for teaching literature; the content for teaching literature; and pedagogical approaches for teaching literature with the inclusion of distance/virtual/online teaching of literature.
