This is a 3 unit course designed to acquaint students with selected psychological concepts and learning theories, and their critical applications to educational practices, issues and problems. The role of psychology of education in studying and influencing teaching and learning will be explored with an emphasis on direct application to planning, implementing, and evaluating instruction in the classroom. Students will develop their philosophy of teaching and understanding of adolescent development and motivation
