This course introduces the students to some relevant issues and trends in education. The core of the course is on multicultural education and its accompanying issues of the times such as the Indigenous Peoples’ Education, the Indigenous Peoples’ Rights Act (IPRA), the Philippine IP Situationer, the IP Youth, Mother Tongue-based Instructions (MTB), Multi-lingual Education (MLE), and the etiquette for online classes in this time of pandemic to respond to international and national mandates.
