The course covers two main topics. The first main topic introduces the students to the basic concepts of research. In this main topic, sub-topics on a problem or issue analysis, formulation of the different parts of a research proposal, and tips on scientific writing and oral presentation. The second main topic presents concepts in statistical techniques. Both topics lead students in the development or preparation of a research proposal or business proposal.
