School Governance

This course focuses on the means by which educational institutions (basic education and tertiary or post-secondary education) are formally organized and managed. Attention is given to understanding the various rudiments of establishing policies and rules, making decisions and solving problems that affect the school system and on assessing the effectiveness and execution of governance roles and responsibilities. These are discussed within the contexts of corporate character and ethical leadership.
