Research Methodology/Language Research
This course discusses the nature, purposes and processes of formulating a research problem to conducting the research itself. It includes explaining the different types of descriptive and experimental researches in both quantitative and qualitative approaches, and the different parts of a thesis/dissertation. Additionally, writing the review of related literature and studies, identifying appropriate data collection methods, constructing tools, organizing references, and processes for publications are discussed in this course. To culminate the subject, the students are expected to write a comprehensive research proposal aligned to the research agenda of their programs and the university.
