This course provides an overview of Evolution through a synthesis of evolutionary theories starting with the works of Charles Darwin to the issues on ethics and religion. It gives an in-depth mastery of the concepts on the following topics: evolutionary genetics, evolutionary genomics, and, evolution and diversity. It also provides updates on the recent researches on evolutionary biology. It trains the students to be critical and analytical thinkers through critiquing activities and group discussion, as well as to master the principles and concepts behind through written and oral presentation of topics.
