Advanced educational psychology is a foundational course that provides an overview of the key theories of development and learning that influence educational practice. Educational Psychology is fairly broad in scope and covers a wide range of issues as research methods, human development, individual differences, theories of learning, complex cognitive processes, learning and motivation, learning environments and assessment. It is designed to acquaint students with selected psychological concepts and learning theories, and their critical applications to educational practices, issues and problems through the conduct of research.
