This course presents a calculus-based approach to study of motion of matter. It starts with a review of differential and integral calculus. Vectors are used throughout the course, so a chapter dwells on vector calculus that is used to discuss kinematics of a particle. The rest of the chapters cover the dynamics of a particle in rectilinear motion, dynamics of a particle in general motion, dynamics of a system of particles, and mechanics of rigid bodies moving in a plane.
