Analytical Chemistry

Analytical Chemistry as a subject is the heart of all chemical analyses from the qualitative chemical analyses to the most complicated quantitative chemical analyses.  It also involves the used of most sophisticated tools and instruments of chemistry like the rotary evaporator, distiller, analytical balance, polarimeter, and many others.

The course includes the topics like steps in chemical analyses, gravimetry, titrimetry, chemical equilibrium, acid –base equilibria, acids and bases in non-aqueous solvents, complexation equilibria, oxidation -reduction equilibria, Precipitation equilibria, electrochemistry, and potentiometry.
