This course is an application of all the theories, principles learned in Guidance Courses. It is also in this subject that much of psychology, philosophy, methodology of the professional subjects and other allied courses learned in college find practical implications in the work of guidance coordinator/counselor. Emphasis is placed on directing the experiences of guidance counselor on structuring and implementing guidance services/activities related to guidance functions of the cooperating school based on the current guidance program and other assessed needs that arise.
As a whole, this practicum course seeks to equip the counselor/practicum student with the professional competencies and skills as well as ideals.
