This course covers the study of the important theories and principles in the analysis of statically determinate and indeterminate structures. It deals with the following topics: determinacy and stability of structures; analysis of statically determinate and indeterminate beams, rigid frames, composite structures and building bents, and trusses; analysis for deflections and rotations; influence lines; and approximate methods of structural analysis.
