The course is intended to orient the graduate students to varied school legislations, which members of the educational governing boards, school heads, school administrators, and teachers should know. The school legislations include constitutional and statutory laws, court decisions, administrative opinions, Presidential Decrees, Republic Acts, and House Bills related to education, CHED Memoranda and Circulars, and Department of Education memoranda and Circulars at the local, regional and national levels must be discussed.
The fundamental objective of the course is to make school administrators and teachers aware of and be familiar with school legislations and their underlying principles and implementing directives that may aid them to solve legal problems and avoid pitfalls in their day-today administration of educational/school affairs.

This course intensifies reading and writing of shorthand phrases, develops students’ dictation speed to the highest point possible, lays a solid foundation for rapid and accurate transcription, and be able to transcribe mailable correspondence. Speed objective is 60- 100 words a minute.

Course Description: This course deals with morphology, anatomy, taxonomy, and chemistry of lichens and bryophytes. Fieldwork activities include sampling and collection of lichens and bryophytes for taxonomic classification and identification. A taxonomic report of lichens and bryophytes from field collection is required as a research output of the course.
