This course lets the students learn to identify the needs of society, to actively seek answers to these needs in the form of new products or services, to quantify the risks of offering these products or services to the market, and to evaluate the resulting projects in terms of societal priorities and the well-being of the larger community. The student builds on the underlying principle that he/she should seek to generate a fair return by meeting the needs of his customers, rather than emphasizing purely on his own interests and concerns.

This course mainly focuses on Parliamentary Parlance – all the rules, concepts, theories and frameworks therewith. The course will prepare the students to their future errands as nation builders in dealing problems encountering different political facets and eventually convening into various meetings, conventions, convocations, assemblies, conferences, among others, using a standardized and generally principled procedure.

This course includes the following topics on the structure and properties of organic compounds, bonding and molecular structure of compounds, chemical activity and organic reactions, alkanes, alkenes, cycloalkanes, stereochemistry, alkyl halide, alkynes and dienes, aromaticity and benzene, alcohols and ethers, aldehydes and ketones, carboxylic acids and its derivatives, amines and amides.

The course provides graduate students with knowledge and skills on the various factors to consider in developing appropriate programs for children with special needs. Comparison of various special education programs in the Philippines will be considered.
