This course presents a calculus-based approach to study of mechanics. Vectors are used throughout the course, so it starts with a chapter on vector calculus that is used to discuss kinematics of a particle. The rest of the chapters cover the dynamics of a particle in rectilinear motion, dynamics of a particle in general motion, dynamics of a system of particles, and mechanics of rigid bodies moving in a plane. If there is ample time, Lagrangian and Hamiltonian equations can be tackled as alternative approaches to study dynamics.

This course is designed to provide basic concepts and laboratory skills in Clinical Chemistry for students who are pursuing Medical Laboratory Science program. It intends to provide the students with a comprehensive view of the body systems' functions and how it works in health and disease. The focus of this course is in the different laboratory tests and its correlation with the different diseases involved. It also includes how the different principles of tests and machines in Clinical Chemistry greatly affects the laboratory results of patients.

This course presents the concepts of liver function assessment, basics of clinical enzymology, electrolyte analysis, blood gas analysis, and quality control in the chemistry laboratory. It builds upon the accomplishments of learning objectives in clinical chemistry 1. Emphasis is made on the diagnostic value of the analytes measured in the lab as aid in patient diagnosis and management.
