This course aims to convey information in terms of a graphical representation of a technical plan about a structure. It also focusses on the manual ability of the student to print engineering lettering in accordance to certain specifications required in manual drawing. A common use is to specify the geometry necessary for the construction of a component which is called a detail drawing.
It further aims to train the student to be familiar and interpret building plans as this is the basic knowledge required in the planning stage of a project.
