This course is designed to review, analyze and critic published research articles in ecology from which set of specific problems could be drawn to formulate a working topic for research to be conducted and presented in either a course-organized forum or seminar or in seminars/conferences organized by related professional organizations. The research output should be able to integrate principles and concepts in ecology along with analysis of natural environments and employed with laboratory and fieldwork activities for data gathering.

This course is focused on the study and critical analysis of the major counseling theories, tools and techniques as they apply to the counseling process. Students will be exposed to the historical and psychological foundations of major counseling theories. They will be trained in observing the skills and techniques employed by practitioners using those theoretical perspectives. There will also be opportunities, through assignments, role plays and interactive class discussions, for students to analyze themselves and others through the various lenses of psychological and counseling theories. At the end of the course, students are expected to have knowledge, understanding and competence in fundamental and advanced counseling skills.

This course provides students with an in-depth knowledge and skills in research writing and conduct of research activities following the self-directed learning and learner-centered philosophies of education. It engages students with activity-laden, leisure-writing, gradual and self-experiential processes. At the end of the course, it is expected that the students submit a manuscript of the proposal papers in the realm of education, particularly in the field of Physical Education and or cognate discipline.

This course deals with concepts, principles, theories and techniques basic to nursing as a profession, science and art. It emphasizes on the concept of man as a holistic being and the professional roles of the nurse in health care setting. The learners are expected to utilize the nursing process and the basic nursing skills as primary tool in promotion, disease prevention, restoration and maintenance, and rehabilitation.
