This course will equip the students in the sciences to understand the importance of chemistry in human anatomy and physiology as explained by the principles and concepts of biochemistry. The biochemistry of the human system at the molecular level is the language of this course, emphasizing the reactions brought about by the different biomolecules that summons the complexity of biochemical pathways, which are the fundamental regulators of life processes.
