CFE 104 is a course that deals with the life and ministry of CICM missionaries worldwide. It focuses on the spirituality and missionary character of the Congregation, anchored on Jesus whose words and deeds become their source of inspiration in order that their faith maybe strengthened through the model that He set for them.
This course aims to deepen the students" understanding of the life and mission of the CICM missionaries with Fr. Theophile Verbist and his companions who laid the foundations of the congregation. Going through this course, the students will be deeply familiarized with the richness of the Congregation and will be enabled to reflect on the value of its presence for them. As such, this course provides them an avenue for following Jesus more closely in their personal lives as members of the Church, the community of Jesus’ disciples, in the way CICM exemplifies, and with Mary as their inspiration.

Course Description
The course is designed to meet the needs of the students in preparation for their profession as law enforcement officer and the like and to help the students understand the system of management, leadership, and administration. The course covers the understanding of personal values, characteristics and goals including the normative foundations of leading which includes the wide array of leadership and management approaches and refine their leadership and management styles. Understand the frames of judgment and skills needed to affect positive change in a wide array of settings and to transform cultures, organizations, and institutions through effective leading, management, analysis and decision-making in a self-aware manner to think and act strategically.

The course is concerned with how the English language works with focus on the sound system, the external structure of words, the grammatical structure of sentences of the English language as well as the formation of meanings and the way these are communicated through words and larger grammatical units. It further explores how these meanings are affected by context of use and context of situation. It also includes the exploration of implications of each of the areas of linguistics to pedagogy and research.

The course is concerned with the study of syntax of the English language. It is task-oriented and allows the students to analyze sentences in English and arrive at an acceptable explanation of the grammaticality and ungrammaticality of sentences. It also includes the exploration of methods and strategies in the teaching of grammar particularly communicative language teaching.
