It further explores how these meanings are affected by context of use and context of situation. It also includes pedagogical implications of each of the areas of linguistics.

Physical Activity Towards Health and Fitness – (Health & Wellness) offered to college students provides knowledge on health and fitness activities. Part 1 presents legal bases that discuss why it is part of the curriculum. It also introduces the concept of Physical Education and of fitness and its relevance to wellness development and culminates with fitness testing. Part II deals with movement enhancement that involves the understanding of scientific basic movement and specific movement patterns. Health education and the importance of nutrition are also included. Part III consists of Exercises Program that starts from warm-up exercises to cool-down exercises. Part IV deals with Aerobic exercise activities. These activities exert low to high-intensity movement exercises accompanied by music which tests student’s endurance, power, and flexibility in all actions. With these varieties of skills, one will be more knowledgeable as to how continued fitness be achieved throughout one’s lifetime.

This course is offered to teacher education students and interested who are non-teacher education students in its attempt to clarify the moral and faith development of a human person and their implications to the understanding of the self and other people. It presents the catechetical methodologies as stipulated by the New National Catechetical Directory for the Philippines (NNCDP) and their applications to life. It tries to develop teacher education students in their catechesis through micro teachings. It is hoped that through the course the recipients will be able to witness their faith through teaching others to follow Jesus, the greatest teacher.

This course introduces students to the contemporary world by examining the multifaceted phenomenon of globalization. Using the various disciplines of the social sciences, it seeks to examine the economic, social, political, technological, and other transformations that have created an increasing awareness of the interconnectedness of peoples and places around the globe. To this end, the course provides an overview of the various debates in global governance, development, and sustainability. Beyond exposing student to the world outside the Philippines, it aims to inculcate a deep sense of nationalism, global citizenship and global ethical responsibility. This course also includes mandatory topics on population education in the context of population and demography.
