This course covers paradigmatic accounts of human nature in ancient, medieval, and early modern philosophy, through a careful reading of selected primary texts from each period. Major topics will include happiness, virtues, human nature; knowledge and opinion; body and soul; immortality, rationality, and freedom of the Will; created being and goodness as emanations of divine perfection. The main focus of the discussion will be on the metaphysical foundations of moral value in the pre-modern tradition, and the conceptual changes shaking these metaphysical foundations with the emergence of modern philosophy. For school managers, the subject brings to fore the right philosophy in dealings with his/her peers, subordinates and superiors as applied in the workplace.
The main objective of this course is to introduce students to philosophical inquiry by examining the fundamental issues and arguments concerning man and the nature of human beings. students are expected to gain and understand some of the major concepts and theories on man/human and human nature; gain insight into the philosophical knowledge of the human person; learn how to evaluate the philosophical positions of the philosophers; increase appreciation of what it means to be human; and improve critical thinking on philosophical issues.

This course focuses on the theory and philosophy of management that necessarily embraces an extremely broad set of issues that will shed light in the context of educational leadership and management. It will then be organized as a graduate seminar wherein the students are expected to take primary responsibility for the depth of their exposure to the materials as discussant and facilitators by creating and developing their “Personal philosophy/ paradigm of educational management towards becoming an agent of organizational renewal and transformation. Although the number of topics is limited, the scope of reading within any given topic area is great. Thus, they are also expected to make reflection papers; book report; develop a seminar paper which will be presented through a webinar that will be organized by them; and other requirements as an application of their insight learnings to real life contexts..

Ang kursong ito ay sumasaklaw sa ibayo at malawakang pag- aaral sa palatunugan at palabuuan ng mga salita sa iba’t ibang wika- dayuhan man o katutubo. Ang di-karaniwang kabuuan ng mga wika ay lumilikha ng mga sagabal sa maayos na pag-aaral at pagtuturo ng wika. Yamang pormal nang pumasok sa institusyon ang agham ng wika ay tatalakayin ang mga simulain at kaalaman batay sa napatunayan ng mga pag-aaral. Gayunman, ang mga araling nabanggit ay nakatuon sa mga wikang dayuhan ngunit ang mga ito ay maaring maiugnay sa pag-aaral ng wikang Filipino at sa iba pang wikang sa Pilipinas.

It pertains to various activities with special kind of skill particularly needed in playing of highly organized games which are governed with rules and regulations such as Individual/Dual Sports and Team Sports. The emphasis is the development of a certain degree of expertise in the organization, officiating, playing and scheduling of these games depending on one’s needs, interest and aptitudes. It also helps/enriches students for proper adaptation of time particularly scheduling of games during a tournament in the school or in their community or locality.
