The course deals with current issues in accounting and taxation Topics include issues on globalization, harmonization of accounting practice, conceptual framework, standard setting, measurement, corporate governance, sustainability and environment accounting and issues in taxation.    

This course highlights current trends and issues, innovations, and problems of the Philippine education and examines the various philosophical, economic and political bases of these educational trends.  Emphasis is on the micro-dimensions of educational management and on the preparation and subsequent implementation of policies that enhance or develop the institution’s effectiveness in an environment characterized by scarcity of resources.
