This course deals with curriculum, instruction, and syllabi development in Physical Education. It discusses and reviews curriculum approaches to the sources of curriculum knowledge with the end view of reshaping the students' perspective on curriculum planning and syllabi development in Physical Education. Emphasis is on the competencies of the Basic Education Curriculum, syllabi development, and preparation of instructional materials.

This course aims to present the literary, historical, social, and political background of the Psalms and books of writings as well as their literary forms, main themes, structure, theology, and relevance to modern times. It also looks into literary and theological study of the Wisdom Literature in the Old Testament (Proverbs, Job, Ecclesiastes) with emphasis on the place of Wisdom in Old Testament theology, reading and interpretive strategies, wisdom genres, and theological message of each book.

Physical Activity Towards Health and Fitness – (Health & Wellness) offered to college students provides knowledge on health and fitness activities. Part 1 presents legal bases that discuss why it is part of the curriculum. It also introduces the concept of Physical Education and of fitness and its relevance to wellness development and culminates with fitness testing. Part II deals with movement enhancement that involves the understanding of scientific basic movement and specific movement patterns. Health education and the importance of nutrition are also included. Part III consists of Exercises Program that starts from warm-up exercises to cool-down exercises. Part IV deals with Aerobic exercise activities. These activities exert low to high-intensity movement exercises accompanied by music which tests student’s endurance, power, and flexibility in all actions. With these varieties of skills, one will be more knowledgeable as to how continued fitness be achieved throughout one’s lifetime.
